Many "Grand Theft Auto" players are hoping that the next installment of the game would be released this year or in 2018. It has been almost four years since the "GTA 5" was released and fans now want to know what is next for the franchise.

It was indicated in the same report that the game developer has reportedly already started developing "Grand Theft Auto 6" but Rockstar Games has not yet decided on the setting for the next GTA installment.
According to a TechRadar source, the gaming studio has already considered having the game in Tokyo but it did not push through due to some concerns in the road system and the distance from the United States. This led gamers to speculate that GTA 6 could likely be set in a location outside North America.
Trusted Reviews also added that fans are hoping "Grand Theft Auto 6" will introduce a female protagonist for the game since the past titles all had male main characters. This time, players are hoping "GTA 6" will break the stereotype and prove that it is not sexis
