Techradar said that we may have to wait until 2020  for Grand Theft Auto 6. This is disappointing for us people who are highly looking for game to release as soon as possible. There are 3 years to go. Rockstar Games supported Gta Online, the multiplayer mode of Gta V until now with almost regular updates and contents. After 3 years, Rockstar Games got ready for Read Dead Redemption 2. This quite explains why the release date might be pushed to 2020 but there is a possibility of the game released a bit earlier but only if the upcoming Read Dead Redemption 2 has no multiplayer mode like the Gta Online.

 Grand Theft Auto 5 remains to be the fastest-selling title in video game history. It earned $1 billion in its first 24 hours of release.. No other video game has ever came close to this. 
Also there are speculations that the map of Gta 6 is most likely to be the whole United Stats of America. This will take time and gives us another reason on why the release date might be pushed to 2020. Well for now, we can just wait but according to many websites and sources, the game is less likely to be released before 2020.

Grand Theft Auto V launched over three years ago, yet it's still a big money-maker, proving that — at least in some small way — crime does pay. The popular open-world action game has now shipped 75 million copies, publisher Take-Two Interactive revealed today during an earnings call.

That's a number Take-Two's other high-grossing titles can't begin to touch. Mafia III shipped 5 million copies (4.5 million of those were during launch week), while NBA 2K17 shipped nearly 7 million and Sid Meier's Civilization VI passed 1.5 million. GTA V's numbers place it in the same league of blockbusters as Minecraft (over 100 million copies sold) and Wii Sports (82.79 million sold). While the number of copies shipped to stores doesn't equal the amount sold-through to customers, it's an indicator of how well the game is performing.

Grand Theft Auto V and its online mode, GTA Online, were great for Take-Two's bottom line last year. The publisher's net revenue grew 15 percent to $476.5 million, but not all of that was from game sales. Almost a quarter of it came from virtual currency, microtransactions and downloadable add-on content. Developer Rockstar has steadily supported both GTA V and GTA Online with free content since launch. Recent updates included underground motorcycle clubs, holiday-themed items and a new Tron-inspired mode called Deadline.

Alphr reported that the release of "GTA 6" could be pushed back to next year since Rockstar Games is pushing to launch "Red Dead Redemption 2" in 2017. It added that a five-year gap is the common pattern used by Rockstar for its game releases.

It was indicated in the same report that the game developer has reportedly already started developing "Grand Theft Auto 6" but Rockstar Games has not yet decided on the setting for the next GTA installment.

According to a TechRadar source, the gaming studio has already considered having the game in Tokyo but it did not push through due to some concerns in the road system and the distance from the United States. This led gamers to speculate that GTA 6 could likely be set in a location outside North America.

Trusted Reviews also added that fans are hoping "Grand Theft Auto 6" will introduce a female protagonist for the game since the past titles all had male main characters. This time, players are hoping "GTA 6" will break the stereotype and prove that it is not sexis

Fans have been patiently waiting for an announcement of "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date but Rockstar Games has always kept mum about this matter. Although "GTA 6" has already been confirmed, nothing much is said about the highly-anticipated installment of the action-adventure video game series. Now, reports about the game may finally reveal the much-awaited "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date.

It has been previously reported that Rockstar Games seemingly pushed "GTA 6" off their priority list as they were giving their undivided attention to another popular title, "Red Dead Redemption 2." The second installment of the open world western action-adventure video game is set to launch this year. Although the exact "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date has yet to be announced, its initial debut is confirmed to be in 2017.

Now that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is on its way, Rockstar Games may already be ready to make time for "Grand Theft Auto 6." As a matter of fact, Alphr has previously claimed that the video game developer is already working on "GTA 6," which could mean that a 2018 "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date is not far from happening. Unfortunately, the report was a year ago and obviously "Grand Theft Auto 6" is still nowhere near to its final touch ups.

Meanwhile, TechRadar suggested a 2020 "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date. The site based its suggestion to GTA Online, the multiplayer component of GTA 5, which has been running since September 2013. The existence of "Red Dead Redemption 2" was announced after the third year of GTA Online.

If "Red Dead Redemption 2" online component will follow the pattern of GTA Online, then the game's streaming will stretch up to three years as well, pushing "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date to 2020. While this makes a lot of sense, Rockstar Games has yet to comment regarding these "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date speculations.

Martin Bergman has done it. He’s released shots of a graphics mod for GTA V on PC that actually, and noticeably, improve the game’s visuals.

That’s awesome! We get sent tweets and emails every week about mods like this, and when we check them out, most times it’s tough seeing any kind of changes or improvements at all outside a few model upgrades. Part of that must be down to how good the game looks by default, but it might also have just been a matter of time.

He calls this the Toddyhancer mod, and it actually combines a few different things, like “Reshade Shaders, ENB series, simple tweaks and some tonemapping with class”.

It’s still a work-in-progress (check back here for info on when it’s released), which would explain why the video below is choppy, but the screenshots are just gorgeous.
