GTA V PC release date in 2014? steam-key preorders provide clues, but no official word from Rockstar

Following the launch of GTA V in September, gaming fans have been waiting for the PC version for the game to be launched by Rockstar.
As reported by SidTech, several stores have listed the Grand Theft Auto V steam key, whcih can be pre-ordered for a summer 2014 release.
SidTech wrote: "The pre-orders tell us that those who pre-order will have to wait for summer next year for the release. We take the summer to mean somewhere between July and September 2014...You do have to take this with a pinch of salt as at the moment Rockstar have not spoken up about a released date. Personally we thought that that Rockstar would launch GTA 5 for the PC before we got to see it on the PS4 and Xbox One."
Meanwhile, an online petition for the GTA V PC version has over 600,000 signatures. The game will also be available for both the Playstation 4 an Xbox One, which will finally hit retailers later this year.
No official information regarding the relaase date for GTA V PC version have been provided by Rockstar as of yet.
In other GTA news, Rockstar got off to a rocky start for the GTA V Online gameplay last month and promised a stimulus package of $500,000 in-game cash to players to compensate for the technical glitches.
Rockstar Games had stated last month: "Given some of the recent technical issues during these first days of GTA Online, and now that things are starting to look much smoother (touch wood!), we are planning to provide a special stimulus package for all who have played or will play Grand Theft Auto Online this month. We will be dropping a cool half a million GTA$ in the GTA Online bank accounts of all players this month, starting as early as next week. For those asking about their lost characters or rank, those will not be able to be restored so we sincerely hope that this cash stimulus we're giving out this month will help you get back on your feet or to make your new life in Los Santos & Blaine extra sweet."
Last night, the games company announced that it has begun the Stimulus Package direct deposit (worth $5 in cash) into in-game bank accounts. "This GTA$500,000 deposit applies to all GTA Online players in the month of October 2013," Rockstar stated.
Although the in-game cash has begun rolling out, users may have to wait up to 2 full days to receive the Stimulus Package.
Rockstar Games also thanked fans for their patience. "Thanks go out to everyone for their continued patience and understanding while we worked through these issues, and we can't wait to bring more into the world of GTA Online."
Some suggestions on how to use the $500,000 in-game cash include purchasing a private jet or a high-end car.
